Holy Trinity GOYA along with Father Mark Arey and Chanter Leonidas Kotsiris will present an educational program, dance and fun GOYA weekend. 

Friday, October 14, 2005      

7:00 p.m.                                   Vespers at Holy Trinity

8:00 p.m.                                   Pizza & Meet & Greet Friends in Church Hall

Saturday, October 15, 2005

9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.               Coed teams of Junior GOYANS and Senior GOYANS play volleyball and basketball against teams from each Church at outdoor courts  (weather permitting).  (In the event of bad weather, tour Parthenon).

11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.             Lunch at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church

12:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.               Junior and Senior GOYA program and presentation by Father Mark and Leonidas Kotsiris, including Church music, Greek dancing and discussion groups.   Discussion groups will be senior boy, then senior girls on Orthodox view of human sexuality and Junior GOYANs will meet on a question and answer session.  All discussion groups with Father Mark.

2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.                Parents, Volunteers and GOYA Advisors have wine and cheese in Kitchen Annex.

3:30 p.m.                                   Host families pick up guests to go home and change for dance.

                                                Decoration Committee sets up for dance. 

3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.                Free time at hotel or guest homes. (GOYA committee decorates Church Hall)

6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.               Dinner by Holy Trinity Greek Ladies Philoptochos and Greek/American band and dance at Holy Trinity Church Hall featuring Kostas Kastinas.

Sunday, October 16, 2005

9:00 a.m.                                   Orthros (optional)

10:00 a.m.                                 Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity.  (Mandatory) GOYANS sit in front left pews.  No Church School for GOYANs.

12:00 Noon                               Luncheon at Church Hall and Fellowship by Ahepa.

1:00 p.m.                                   Optional visit to Parthenon and/or Orthodox Bookstore.

Cost: $25 per GOYA member for entire program

and $15 for Dinner/Dance only.  Due by October 1, 2005.
